Introduction to FPSC Jobs Recruitment

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) is responsible for conducting tests and examinations to recruit individuals for All-Pakistan Services, federal civil services, and civil posts in Basic Pay Scale 16 and above (or equivalent) within the federal government.

Recruitment Policy (Provincial/Regional Quota) in FPSC Jobs:

• Merit: 7.5%

• Punjab (including Islamabad): 50%

• Sindh: 19%

  • Urban Areas (Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur): 7.6% (40% of 19%)

  • Rural Areas (excluding Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur): 11.4% (60% of 19%)

• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK): 11.5%

• Balochistan: 6%

• Newly Merged Districts of KPK (Ex-FATA): 3%

• Gilgit-Baltistan: 1%

• Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): 2%

• Total: 100%

Additional Quotas:

1. Women’s Quota:

   • A 10% quota is reserved for women, calculated from the share of each province/region (excluding the merit quota).

   • Unfilled vacancies under this quota are carried forward to the next recruitment cycle.

2. Minorities (Non-Muslims) Quota:

   • A 5% quota is reserved for minorities, calculated from the share of each province/region (excluding the merit quota).

   • Unfilled vacancies under this quota are also carried forward.
