Cadet College Razmak History And Remarkable Journey
Cadet College Razmak was established through a Presidential order on December 27, 1977, and started its educational journey in 1978. The college welcomed its first batch of 100 cadets in March 1978, beginning with admissions in classes 7th, 8th, and 9th. The initial cadets were organized into two houses, Ghazali and Bilal, which later expanded into six houses including Jinnah, Babar, Abdali, and Khushhal.
Over the years, Cadet College Razmak continued to grow and develop its admission system. After several changes in intake policies, the college expanded its annual cadet selection and has been admitting a larger number of talented students to continue its tradition of quality education and leadership development.
The institution takes pride in its successful alumni known as Razmians. Graduates of Cadet College Razmak have achieved excellence in different fields including medicine, engineering, armed forces, civil services, information technology, education, and other professional areas.
Due to challenging circumstances, the college experienced temporary relocations. It was shifted to Peshawar in 2009 and reopened at Razmak in May 2011. Later, it was relocated to Aman Gharh in 2012 before moving to Nowshera Cantt in 2013 where better facilities and accommodation were provided.
Recognizing the historical importance of its original location, Cadet College Razmak returned to Razmak in September 2015 and continued its mission of providing quality education, discipline, and leadership training to young cadets.
