Cadet College Muzaffarabad Admission Procedure
The college campus is spread over an area of 409 kanals (approximately 46 acres). It comprises academic blocks, an auditorium, a mosque, a library, an administration block, a bachelors’ hostel, an officers’ mess, and a cafeteria.Â
The college also has five cadet hostels: Jinnah Hostel, Iqbal Hostel, Khalid Hostel, Ghazi Hostel (named after Ghazi-e-Milat Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, the founding president of Azad State of Jammu & Kashmir), and Saif Hostel (named after Naik Saif Ali Janjua, Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider).Â
Additionally, the college campus has residential accommodations for staff and several playgrounds for outdoor games, including hockey, football, volleyball, cricket, and an athletic track.

The Cadet College Muzaffarabad admission office has officially declared the initiation of admissions for the 2024 session. This esteemed institution is currently welcoming applications for enrollment in the FSC and ICS programs. To commence the admission process, interested candidates should obtain the Cadet College admission form from either the official Cadet College Muzaffarabad website or directly from this page. Once the form is acquired, applicants are urged to complete it diligently and ensure that all requisite documents are included. The fully filled application form, accompanied by the necessary documents, must be submitted to the college admission office within the stipulated deadline for each school, as the schedule may vary. The application submission deadline has been extended until November 15, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria of Admission (8th Class)
In Cadet College Muzaffarabad, Admissions to the College occur annually for Class VIII, and they follow a specific timetable. The conditions for admission are as follows:
Age and Qualifications
Candidates seeking admission must:
- Be between 12 and 14 years of age on April 1st of the entry year, with no exceptions to the age limit.
- Comply with the specified age limit.
- Have successfully completed Class VII by the end of March in the entry year.
Number of Cadets
Admission to the College for Class VIII takes place through an annual entrance examination. The classes commence in the second week of April. The College admits 60 cadets each year.

Admission Selection Process
The selection criteria for admission to the College consist of the following stages:
Written Test: Candidates are required to take a written test in Mathematics, English, Urdu, and Islamiat. It’s worth noting that the Mathematics paper can be conducted in either Urdu or English, and the use of calculators is not allowed during this examination.
Interview: Candidates who successfully pass the written test will proceed to the interview stage.
Medical Examination: All candidates must undergo a medical examination conducted by the College Medical Officer. Only those who pass the written test, interview, and are medically fit will be considered for admission.
Note: Please be aware that examination results are strictly confidential, and no correspondence regarding them will be entertained. The decision of the Selection Committee is final and cannot be challenged.

Application Form
The application form for admission can be found in Appendix ‘2’ of the prospectus. It should be accompanied by an address slip provided in Appendix ‘3’. Details regarding the submission of application forms are advertised annually in leading English and Urdu newspapers.
Roll Number Slips
Roll number slips are sent to all eligible candidates within a reasonable timeframe after receiving their applications.
Announcement of Selected Candidates
Once the results are finalized, selected candidates will be informed via a Call Letter, which will also include Joining Instructions.
Confirmation of Admissions
Upon receiving the Call Letter, parents/guardians are required to confirm whether their son/ward will be joining the College. If confirmation is not received within 15 days of the Call Letter’s issuance, the claims of selected candidates will no longer be considered, and the next candidate on the merit list will be contacted.
